• Google OAuth Data — name, email, and profile picture if you sign in with Google
• Payment Information — processed securely by Paystack; we do not store your card details
• Usage Data — prompts you enter, videos and images you generate, generation history
• Technical Data — IP address, country, browser type, device information
• Referral Data — referral codes used and referrals made
• Source Data — how you found Afrigen (e.g. Facebook, Google, direct)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Afrigen platform
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send you account-related emails (welcome, generation complete, upgrade confirmation)
• Track and reward referrals
• Analyze platform usage to improve our services
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Paystack — for secure payment processing
• fal.ai — your prompts are sent to generate videos and images
• Groq/Anthropic — your prompts are processed by AI to refine them
• ElevenLabs — scripts are sent for AI voiceover generation (Pro users only)
• Google — if you use Google OAuth to sign in

All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption for passwords and sensitive data. Payment information is handled entirely by Paystack and never stored on our servers. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Cookies

Afrigen uses cookies and session storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the platform.
